With our scouts out on the prairie, We'll chase Little Crow. We '11 chase, &c.
And if by chance we get his scalp,
We '11 take it neat and clean ; It will be the nicest trophy We ever yet have seen, For with good aim we shoot our game,
In revenge for those who fell; And with our minie bullets
We '11 send his soul to------.

H ere's a health to our comrades,
And our gallant Colonel Crooks ; He is a good leader,
We know him by his looks; And when the war is ended,
